Senior IT Project Manager
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for running strategic IT/media projects for our growing customer base across the UK and the EU.
Our projects are transformational and business-critical to our clients. They operate at the heart of broadcast media clients, and success of our projects will drive significant business change throughout the sector. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the complete end-to-end delivery, from the ‘blue sky thinking’ workshops as client requirements are captured, through to project design, planning, milestones and deliverables. As such, the Senior Project Manager needs to be highly experienced in leading senior executives from both business and IT disciplines towards the successful definition and delivery of the project and be comfortable drilling down into the detail of both business and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities
- To own the end-to-end delivery of major adtech projects for some of the UK’s leading media organisations. This is a customer-facing role and will involve frequent customer engagement onsite, occasionally internationally and frequently online.
- To work alongside or lead project management teams comprising users, customers, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders in the successful delivery of these projects. External stakeholder management critical for this role.
- Business case management, cost tracking and overall return on investment are key measures for adserve and our clients, and a key priority for this role.
- Ownership of the full project life-cycle experience including scoping, business case development and project close down and handover.
- To engage with advertising business leaders in understanding requirements and agreeing the process toward the optimal project outcome.
- To challenge, reimagine and replan existing business processes and outcomes.
- To lead customer workshops and brainstorming sessions to determine project scope, definition, deliverables and milestones.
- To lead our internal software development projects, ensuring our software development activities are delivered within a formal project management framework.
- To manage any outsourced development partners as part of project deliverables.
Skills / Attributes Required
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT project management, with experience of both internal and customer-facing IT projects. Experience within the media or AdTech sector is highly desirable.
- A hands-on, experienced agilest, with minimum accreditation of SAFe Agile Practitioner
- Certification in MSP and Agile essential for this role.
- An individual with demonstrable commitment to professional growth, striving to get to the top of their game, and so membership of MAPM or similar professional standards body is expected
- A 1st or 2:1 degree from a good UK university in an IT/Resource Management discipline.
- Exceptionally well organised, disciplined with adoption of clear processes to ensure projects are always delivered on time, budget and which exceed the stakeholders’ expectations
- The ability to address problem-solving in the broadest context, and coming at problems with innovative and thinking outside-the-box
- A proven leader who can lead and motivate a team but highly proficient as an individual
- Expert-level fluency in using the following tools;
- o Atlassian toolset (Confluence, Jira),
- o Microsoft Projects (for Level 3 road mapping and resource management)
- o Remote collaboration tools such as Miro, Menti, Mural, FigJam
