Duties and Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to capture, clarify, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing advertising workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies, recommending process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Documentation: Produce clear, concise, and structured documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business leaders, software developers, and project teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals.
- Workshops & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead brainstorming workshops, discovery sessions, and presentations to uncover project scope and define milestones.
- Solution Design Support: Work closely with solution architects and developers to validate technical solutions, ensuring they meet client needs.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
- Reporting: Develop project status reports, progress summaries, and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
- Adoption & Training: Assist with the rollout of new solutions, providing training and documentation for end users.
Skills / Attributes RequiredMandatory
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis within a software development environment.
- Proven experience working on ad-tech or media technology projects, particularly in advertising workflows or commercial radio.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and creative solutions.
- Strong experience in creating user stories, wireframes, and process documentation.
- Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with senior executives and technical teams.
- Agile/Scrum experience with a certification like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Practitioner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline with a strong academic track record.
- Experience working in a media or global ad-tech sector.
- Familiarity with AWS environments and microservices architectures.
- Experience in project tools like Miro, FigJam, Mural, or other remote collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to testing processes and UAT coordination.
